1. Departmental Associations
There are 6 departmental associations functioning actively in the campus. A teacher of each department is given the charge of that association. These associations conduct meetings, seminars, lectures and competitions. The associations function for the overall development of the student. Each association has a secretary elected from the students.
The different associations functioning are:
- Civil Association
- Mechanical Association
- Electrical Association
- Electronics Association
- Computer Association
- M.C.A Association.
2. Parent Teachers Association
The Parent Teachers Association is envisaged to provide a close link among the staff, students and parents and to give a touch of parental care for the students. It actively involves in training and placement, up gradation of co-curricular and extra curricular activities and counseling of students. It motivates the faculty to get best result and provide financial support to needy students. A full-fledged seminar hall and IT center has been set up with the help of the association. It has cooperated with alumni association in the renovation of college auditorium and it is providing financial assistance to departments for accreditation.
3. MACE Alumni Association ( MACE AA)
MACE AA constituted in the year 1966 and the rules and regulations formulated on 20 - 4 - 1970.
The object of the association shall be
- To maintain the contacts of the Alumni with the almamater.
- To foster the relationship between the past and the present students of the institution.
- To keep the old students informed about the growth and development of the institution.
- To give an opportunity for the old students of the institution to participate in the responsible task of building up and maintaining the tradition of the institution.
- To serve as a forum striving to get a proper blending of the theoretical and practical aspects of engineering.
- To institute prizes, scholarships etc for the students of the college.
MACE AA has chapters in Kochi, Kuwait, Qatar, Oman, UAE and North America. All the chapters are functioning well and are in constant touch with the parent association.
All the chapters of the MACE AA regularly conduct annual family get together. These get-togethers are well attended and participants cherish their memories of the almamater.
Publication of the news letters, members directories are the other activities of the MACE AA.
