HOSTEL FACILITIES OF MACE MACE has separate hostels for both boys and girls. There are four boys hostels and two girls hostels.

Mess Facilities Boys hostels are provided with two dividing messes and one contract mess. Boys hostels are provided with two dividing messes and one contract mess.Ladies hostels have got a combined dividing mess system.
Amenities in the Hostels All the hostels have got common rooms for watching TV and for reading news papers and magazines. Facilities for indoor and outdoor games are also provided in the hostels
Hostel Administration Hostel managers are appointed in all the boys hostels to look after the daily administration disciplines of the hostels. They will also assist in addressing the problems of the inmates. Hostel matron is looking after the daily administration of ladies hostels. She is also responsible for the maintenance of disciplines in the hostel.
Admission to hostels are only for an academic year. Inmates of the hostels will have to apply for readmission. Readmission will be given to only those inmates whose application is recommended by the hostel manager/matron. Students seek fresh admission will have to apply for it. Application for admission and readmission can be had from the hostel office on payment of the prescribed fee. Normally students can submit the applications during the first week of March. List of selected students will be announced in the last week of March. Merit is the primary criterion for admission in the hostels. Special consideration is given to financially weaker students in getting admission to the hostels. Few seats are reserved for SC/ST students also. |

Chief warden appointed by the management will have the overall control on the hostels and coordinates the hostel administration. Principal or a senior faculty member will be the chief warden.
