SOFT SKILL DEVELOPMENT PROGRAMMES

Soft skills training closely relate to mould personality and behavior. It will improve the capabilities of the students for team work, good leadership, enhanced problem solving and good client relations. Professionals and experienced faculty members are conducting programmes to prepare students to act efficiently in the important roles in their career.

LANGUAGE AND COMMUNICATION SKILLS DEVELOPMENT INITIATIVES

To improve the language and communication, professional communication programs are conducted as an effective tool for the students to communicate efficiently. Other than the language lab as the part of the curriculum, various training programmes like English verbal, Technical communication, Formal correspondence, Group discussion are organised. Besides completions like best actor, talk it out, story writing, book review are also conducted. Training on Public speaking, and leadership skills are also organised .

LIFE SKILLS

To improve creativity, critical thinking, problem-solving, decision-making, the ability to communicate and collaborate, along with personal and social responsibility that contribute to good citizens, programs are designed and conducted by NSS units, experienced faculty members and professional agencies. The training help the students to polish and transform skills, to practice the knowledge gained, to develop managerial skills and to deal effectively with the challenges of day to day life.

ICT/COMPUTING SKILLS

Online interaction and Computer literacy is a necessity as a survival tool in the present-day world. Training programmes are arranged to enable students to confidently use computer and associated gadgets. Students will be trained to gather information, format the presentations and attend online courses. Internet facility is provide campus wide and students can utilise the connectivity to attend various online courses like NPTEL, MOOC, digital library and other e resources.
