The Department of Civil Engineering recently organized a one-week Faculty Development Program (FDP) on Building Information Modelling (BIM) from February 17 to 22, 2025. The program was coordinated by Dr. Anu James and Dr. Indu Susan Raj.The FDP aimed to provide participants with in-depth knowledge and hands-on experience in BIM, a cutting-edge technology in the field of civil engineering. The program covered various aspects of BIM, including its applications, benefits, and implementation in real-world projects.The participants gained valuable knowledge and skills, which will enable them to integrate BIM into their teaching and research activities. The successful organization of the FDP reflects the Department of Civil Engineering’s commitment to enhancing the skills and knowledge of faculty members and promoting innovation in the field.
