The Department of Civil Engineering conducted a successful 2-day training programme on Geotechnical Investigation for PWD Engineers on March 4-5, 2025. Prof. Eldhose M Manjummekudiyil served as the resource person, imparting valuable knowledge to the participants. Additionally, Dr. Alpha Lukose and Prof. Dona Rachel Baby provided hands-on experience, guiding attendees through the geotechnical lab and sharing their expertise. The programme was expertly coordinated by Prof. Berlin Sabu and Dr. Indu Susan Raj. The training was well-attended by Executive Engineers, Assistant Engineers, and Overseers from various branches of the PWD department.
On March 3, 2025, The Department of Civil Engineering, in collaboration with the Internal Quality Assurance Cell, successfully organized a software seminar on "Evolve with CYPE" at Seminar Hall 2.

On February 21, 2025, the Department of Civil Engineering successfully organized a one-day workshop on "Mastering the Mix" for Public Works Department (PWD) engineers.
