Prof. Dr. K. N. Madhusoodanan holds the position of Vice-Chancellor of Cochin University of Science and Technology (CUSAT), Cochin, Kerala. He has obtained his PhD from CUSAT in Physics. He has around 25 years of experience in teaching. He has also worked as a post-doctoral research fellow at Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore, University Rome, Italy, Catholic University, Belgium and Institute for Ion Beam Physics and Materials Research Centre Germany.

Prof. Dr. Franz Lehner is full professor in Information Systems and holds the Chair of Information Systems (Wirtschaftsinformatik) at the University of Passau. Before that, he was a professor of Business Administration and Information Management (MIS) at the Koblenz School of Corporate Management (WHU, Germany). After that, he worked for a short period as a founding president of the Danube-University at Krems.

Prof. Dr. Hans Ziegler holds the chair of Production, Operations and Logistics Management at the School of Business, Economics and Information Systems of the University of Passau. He earned a diploma in Industrial Engineering from Karlsruhe Institute of Technology, a doctoral degree in Business Administration and a habilitation in Business Administration from the University of Paderborn. Prior to joining the University of Passau he was Professor for Business Computing and Information Systems at the University of Paderborn and Professor for Production and Operations Management at the Technical University of Darmstadt.

Prof. Dr. Ziegler's teaching interests are Operations Research, Operations Management and Logistics Management. His research focus is on the development and analysis of models and algorithms for scheduling and inventory management in supply chains. Prof. Dr. Ziegler has a long lasting research collaboration with Prof. Chandrasekharan Rajendran from the Department of Management Studies of IIT Madras. He is responsible for the collaboration between the School of Business, Economics and Information Systems of the University of Passau and the Department of Management Studies of IIT Madras, especially for student and faculty exchange, for the Joint Doctoral Degree Program and the Joint Masters Degree Program of both institutes.

Group Captain Babu Joseph is a 1986 batch alumnus of MA College of Engg. Kothamangalam. Commissioned into the Aeronautical Engg (Electronics) branch of the Indian Air Force (IAF), he is trained and well experienced on Mirage 2000 fighter aircraft, weapons and Electronic Warfare (EW) systems of Mirage 2000, Anti-aircraft Guided Missiles, Indigenous EW Systems and AFNET - the private internet of the IAF. He has served in combat Squadrons, Repair Depots and senior Engg.. appointments in flying stations pan India as well as HQ, Integrated Defence Staff (IDS).

During his Air Force career spanning over three decades, he also served in “Defence Avionics Research Establishment (DARE, DRDO) on deputation for a total duration of 10 years. During the years of deputation, he made valuable contributions in indigenous development of Radar Warning Receivers (RWR) and Electronic Warfare Suites (EWS). He also managed their successful integration on 16 variants of aircraft of Indian Air Force and Indian Navy, initially as Project Manager and subsequently as Project Director of these projects. He has been commended by the Chief of Air Staff, twice for his meritorious services. He also served in the Headquarters Integrated Defence Staff (HQ IDS) as Director - Data & Applications wherein he was associated with certain projects of national importance.

Gp Capt Babu Joseph has published a few journals in his domains and participated in several national as well as international seminars. He is a life member of several professional bodies. Post superannuation from IAF, he is currently serving as an Independent Technology Consultant in the Defence Industry.
