Mar Athanasius College of Engineering pioneered the research in technology at Mahatma Gandhi University and is now under APJ Abdul Kalam Technological University. The Institute has research centers in the Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, and Computer Science departments. In addition to the advanced computational techniques, well-equipped laboratories are available for research in various departments. The separate concrete research laboratory in Civil Engineering Department is the first and unique in Kerala. The highly efficient and dedicated research guides who have experience in leading institutes like IITs, IISc, and NITs are the backbone of the research centers on our campus.
