Our Vibrant Alumni Association
MACE Alumni Association (MACEAA) is an active association with twenty-three active chapters in India and abroad. Alumni Association takes an active role in the overall development of the college, especially in the academic, co-curricular, cultural, and infrastructure developmental activities. MACEAA, in association with various alumni chapters and batches, provides financial assistance, placements, and awards to students of MACE every year. A full-fledged MACE Alumni center is functioning on the college campus with amenities like Training and Placement Cell, Guest rooms, Seminar hall, Business Incubation center and Conference rooms.
Association of MACE Alumni Chapters (AMAC), a coordination committee under the auspices of MACEAA, coordinates the activities of all chapters and is also instrumental in starting new chapters. It is worth noting that the most active chapters of MACEAA are those in UAE, Kuwait, Qatar, Bahrain, Oman, KSA, USA(Seattle, Silicon Valley, Houston, Washington DC, Midwest (Chicago), Delaware, Atlanta) UK, Australia (Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Perth), Singapore, Cochin, Bangalore and Chennai. Our alumni chapters act as the first point of contact for our graduating students when they travel to these places/countries. MACEAA chapters also guide placement opportunities available in their respective geographical locations. “Crossroads”, a bi-annual two-day event organized by the MACEAA UAE chapter on the college campus, is a unique programme that familiarizes graduating students with the latest technologies and job opportunities in the Middle East. Alumni working in various fields of engineering handle interactive sessions during this two-day event.
Being one of the oldest and most renowned colleges, our alumni hold key administrative posts in the State and Central Governments. Our alumni are working as IAS, IES, and IFS officers in Indian Civil services; Officers in Indian armed forces; CEOs and Presidents of multinational companies, Principals of prestigious institutions, and Professors in IITs and NITs. Mr. Roy Paul IAS, former Civil Aviation Secretary, Mr. Muralee Thummarukudy, Director of the Coordination Office of UN Convection to Combat Desertificatio (UNCCD), Mr. V. K. Mathews, founder Chairman of IBS Software Services, Dr. S. Unnikrishnan Nair, VSSC Director, Mr. Mohan Joseph Cheeran, Founder Chairman, SREC group Abudhabi, Dr. Mini Shaji Thomas, Former Director, NIT Trichy, Vayalar award winner Mr. V.J. James, notable film director Mr. Ranjith Sankar are few names worth mentioning.
