COMPUTER LABORATORY

Our department has two modern, fully-equipped computer labs with a combined seating capacity of 140 students, providing an expansive and collaborative learning environment.

These labs house a total of 100 high-performance machines. This includes 60 powerful workstations, each configured with Intel i7 Processors, 32 GB RAM, and a 4GB GDDR5 Graphics Card, perfect for demanding applications and advanced development. The remaining 40 PCs feature Intel i5 processors and 16 GB RAM, ensuring smooth operation for all core computing needs.

Driving our network infrastructure are two Intel Xeon Servers, ensuring seamless data management and processing. Students benefit from unlimited high-speed internet access, available via both Ethernet and Wi-Fi, facilitating endless research and online collaboration.

To guarantee uninterrupted productivity, our labs are backed by a 21 KVA UPS facility, providing up to 6 hours of power backup. Beyond just computing, our labs have diverse hardware and software resources, to empower students for their projects and innovations.

DEPARTMENT LIBRARY

The Department of Computer Applications offers an exclusive departmental library-a quiet, dedicated space for both students and faculty. It houses a comprehensive collection of over 1,800 textbooks spanning various disciplines within computer science. The library is regularly updated to ensure access to essential resources for academic study, research, and technical exploration. In addition to this facility, students also have access to the College Main Library, which features an extensive collection of reference books and subscriptions to a wide range of e-journals.
