Symposium on Viksit Bharat: Towards Global Space Leadership

A symposium on the theme “Viksit Bharat: Towards Global Space Leadership” was organised by the Department of Mechanical Engineering, Mar Athanasius College of Engineering (MACE), Kothamangalam, in association with the Liquid Propulsion Systems Centre (LPSC), ISRO, as part of the National Space Day celebrations on 20 August 2026.

Student Induction Programme 2026 was inaugurated on Monday, 10 August 2026, at 10:00 AM at the Baselios Paulose Indoor Stadium, marking the beginning of the academic journey for the new batch of engineering students.

The Course Completion Ceremony for the 2026 graduating batch of Mar Athanasius College of Engineering (MACE), Kothamangalam, was held on 23 June 2026 at the Baselios Paulose Indoor Stadium.

The newly established Robotics and Automation Lab under the Department of Mechanical Engineering at Mar Athanasius College of Engineering was inaugurated by Professor Dr. Suresh Sundaram of the Department of Aerospace Engineering, Indian Institute of Science (IISc), Bengaluru.

The two-week Startup Acceleration Programme 𝙓𝙚𝙡𝙚𝙧𝙖𝙩𝙚, organised by the Innovation and Entrepreneurship Development Cell (IEDC) of Mar Athanasius College of Engineering, was inaugurated by 𝙇𝙩. 𝘾𝙙𝙧. 𝙎𝙖𝙟𝙞𝙩𝙝 𝙆𝙪𝙢𝙖𝙧 Infrastructure & Government Advisory Lead at Kerala Startup Mission on 12th February 2026.

MACE  proudly hosted the NASA Space Apps Challenge for the fourth consecutive year, joining 2,800 centers across 182 countries for the 40-hour global hackathon. Organized by NASA’s Earth Science Department, the event encourages tech-driven solutions to Earth and space challenges.

Mar Athanasius College of Engineering proudly presents its premier Technical Feast TAKSHAK’25, scheduled on September 26 & 27, 2025.

The sixth edition of the globally awarded hackathon, “>.hack();_”, sponsored by the Youth Wing of the the World Malayalee Council was inaugurated on Friday 22nd August 2025. The three-day event, themed Kerala Reimagined, brings together students, professionals, and innovators to develop solutions to real-world challenges.

The 35th anniversary of the IEEE Student Branch at Mar Athanasius College of Engineering (MACE) celebrated the Branch’s legacy of sustained achievement, innovation, and impact over 35 years. Leaders, faculty, students, and alumni gathered to highlight the Branch’s commitment to advancing technology and community.
