The Electronics and Communication Engineering Department hosted a specialized Faculty Development Programme from July 3rd to July 9th, 2024, focusing on comprehensive training for technical staff in laboratory tools and equipment. This professional development initiative was supported by the International Centre for Free and Open Source Software (ICFOSS), an organization under the Government of Kerala.
The Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering hosted a hands-on LTSpice workshop on 10th July 2025 for the faculty and technical staff, aimed at enabling them to virtually design, simulate, and analyze electronic circuits prior to physical implementation.
The department organized an industrial visit to two leading technology companies: VVDN Technologies, a global provider of software, product engineering, and electronics manufacturing solutions, and Transight Systems.
The Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering successfully organized a five-day Faculty Development Programme centered on Idea Lab initiatives, operating under the prestigious sponsorship of the International Society for Technology in Education (ISTE). This comprehensive professional development initiative took place from January 13th to January 17th, 2025.
