The Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering successfully organized a five-day Faculty Development Programme centered on Idea Lab initiatives, operating under the prestigious sponsorship of the International Society for Technology in Education (ISTE). This comprehensive professional development initiative took place from January 13th to January 17th, 2025.
The Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering hosted a hands-on LTSpice workshop on 10th July 2025 for the faculty and technical staff, aimed at enabling them to virtually design, simulate, and analyze electronic circuits prior to physical implementation.
The department organized an industrial visit to two leading technology companies: VVDN Technologies, a global provider of software, product engineering, and electronics manufacturing solutions, and Transight Systems.
Mr. John Joy, a distinguished alumnus of our department delivered an insightful presentation titled "Looking into the Future" for our students. He works as a Senior Data Scientist specializing in Artificial Intelligence at Carelon Global Solutions, Dublin.
