OH, MY GOOGLE
Oh, My Google, an event to enhance technical awareness and foster enthusiasm towards the futuristic world today was held on the 25th of March, 2023 by GDSC MACE at Kerala Startup Mission, Kalamassery. The event which comprised of panel discussions, workshops, awareness sessions, and effective games was attended by more than 140 undergraduate students from different parts of Kerala.The event began with an interactive and fun networking session by Mr. Kiran S Raj, Research SDE at BuildNest, Lead organizer at GDG Cloud Kochi. The participants were given a platform to build connections with like-minded individuals and build a stronger community around themselves. Mr. Kiran provided certain tips as to how one could find individuals through attending events and through various social media platforms to move forward with determination towards his/her passion or future career.The session was followed by yet another informative panel discussion by four prominent tech professionals, Andrew Bastin (Co-Founder and CTO of Hopscotch), Mr.Sunith VS (Chief Operating Officer at Trebuchet), Mr.Anandhakrishnan VS (Operations Manager at ClusterDev, Organizer at GDG Cochin) and Mr.Yadev Jayachandran (Head of Product Humblx). The audience witnessed a dynamic discussion between the panelists on the topic- “Preparing Next Generation for Jobs of Tomorrow”. They discussed how one could plan forward in their careers by closely observing the current demand and the future needs of the industry.
