Computer Science Association, in collaboration with the Industry Institute Partnership Cell (IIPC), successfully conducted a session on “Opportunities and Options in the Software Industry” on March 10, 2025. The session was open to third-year students from the Computer Science, Data Science, and Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning branches. Mr. George Ukkuru, General Manager, McLaren Strategic Solutions (MSS), an industry expert with over 24 years of experience, delivered an insightful and interactive session, covering key aspects of the IT industry, including Career opportunities in the software sector, Essential skill sets for industry readiness, Specializations in IT job roles, Resume building and interview preparation, Tips for excelling in job interviews.

IEEE CS Student Branch Chapter at MACE in collaboration with Takshak 24 Tech Fest hosted a thrilling Capture the Flag (CTF) challenge on campus. This on-site competition required participants to decode, decrypt, solve, and find hidden flags within a limited timeframe. The event that tested participants' problem-solving, critical thinking, and technical skills. Participants, working individually or in teams, were tasked with decoding, decrypting, and solving a series of challenging puzzles within a limited timeframe. The event provided a platform for networking, collaboration, and showcasing technical abilities.

IOT workshop

Department of Computer Science organized an IoT Workshop from 11th February to March 4th, 2025, providing a hands-on learning experience focused on ESP32 microcontrollers, sensors, networking, and IoT applications. It begins with an introduction to IoT and setting up the ESP32 development environment using Arduino IDE. Participants will explore various sensors, including temperature, humidity, and ultrasonic sensors, and learn to display real-time data on LCD screens. The workshop also covers ESP32’s Wi-Fi capabilities, networking concepts, and setting up web servers to control devices remotely. The workshop is handled by Manu Francis ,PSE TeqardLabs and Prince John Joseph , COO TeqardLabs
