Mar Athanasius College of Engineering (MACE) is a premier engineering institution which has carved a niche for itself in the field of technical education since it's inception in 1961. This renowned institution, the progenitor of technical education in the state of Kerala is committed to the dictum “Knowledge is Power”, with the foremost relevance being the creation of a better society by moulding engineers for mankind.
The college is situated at Kothamangalam, a town lying at the foothills of the evergreen Western Ghats on the way to Munnar, one of the most popular tourist destinations in Kerala. The college is owned and managed by the Mar Athanasius College Association and is aided by the Government of Kerala. MACE offers various Bachelors and Masters degree programmes in engineering and technology apart from research programmes in engineering. The institute is recognized by AICTE and is affiliated to the APJ Abdul Kalam Technological University, Kerala. All undergraduate programmes of engineering offered at MACE are accredited by the National Board of Accreditation. Apart from teaching, MACE is engaged in wide spectrum of activities covering research and development, industrial consultancy, continuing education and faculty development.
