Mar Athanasius College of Engineering (MACE) is a premier engineering institution which has carved a niche for itself in the field of technical education since its inception in 1961. This renowned institution, the progenitor of technical education in the state of Kerala is committed to the dictum “Knowledge is Power”, with the foremost relevance being the creation of a better society by moulding engineers for mankind.
The college is situated at Kothamangalam, a town lying at the foothills of the evergreen Western Ghats. The college is owned and managed by the Mar Athanasius College Association and is aided by the Government of Kerala. MACE, recognized by AICTE and affiliated to APJ Abdul Kalam Technological University, offers various Bachelors, Masters and Doctoral programmes in Engineering and Technology.
The college is accredited by NAAC and also all the under graduate programs of Engineering offered at MACE are accredited by the National Board of Accreditation. Apart from teaching, MACE is engaged in wide spectrum of activities covering research and development, industrial consultancy, continuing education and faculty development.
Saint Petersburg Electrotechnical University “LETI”, founded in 1886, is situated in the historical centre of Saint Petersburg. The university is renowned in Russia and all over the world as a leading research centre. The university has over 9000 undergraduate and postgraduate students and out of this over 1800 are overseas students. The university offers 14 majors for the PhD students. Each year, LETI holds large-scale international conferences, symposiums and seminars in artificial intelligence, electronics, soft computing, X-ray engineering and ergonomics. There are approximately 160 universities, big enterprises and research institutions from 75 countries who are among academic and industrial partners of LETI.
