Students should be able to demonstrate a degree of mastery over the area as per the specialization of the program. The mastery should be at a level higher than the requirements in the appropriate bachelor program.

Be able to identify optimal solutions for power electronic problems such as switching control, design of converters and inverters and control of industrial drives.
Be able to apply Engineering tools to analyse and solve power system engineering problems using power electronic systems.
