Established in 1961, Mar Athanasius College of Engineering is a Government-aided, NBA accredited college affiliated to APJ Abdul Kalam Kerala Technological University. Students enrolled for the courses in our college have proven their academic excellence by entering the promising list of Kerala Engineering Architecture Medical Entrance Examination (KEAM).

Students pursuing B.Tech Degree from MACE are versatile with having experience in all domains during their campus life. The students are capable of balancing their extra-curricular and co-curricular activities along with their academics. MACE provides a plethora of opportunities in which they can explore and learn new skills that are technical and interpersonal as well. Along with the students, the faculty of our organization are veterans in their respective fields and the faculty are capable of providing quality education and guidance to the students for excelling in their chosen career path.
Students are exposed to numerous hurdles of organizing an event to its best. Students develop technical aptitude, leadership qualities, managerial skills, and many other soft skills required to excel in their respective career paths through various intercollege as well as intracollege events, thereby establishing themselves as a valuable asset for organizations. Students are provided with the opportunity to translate their theoretical knowledge into practical knowledge. Along with the extra-curricular activities, students are encouraged to analyze different needs and challenges in society and translate them into viable and beneficial solutions thereby improving the quality of living. In the process of developing solutions, various constraints and possibilities are evaluated critically and logically. In order to prototype, students can make use of different labs like FAB Lab, Fabrication Studio, IoT Lab, and other mechanical labs. MACE encourages students to join clubs to organize and participate in events. Some of the worth mentioning professional clubs are IEEE, SAE, ASME, and NSS and the hobby clubs include Film club, Debate club, Music and Dance club.
Students do internships at several reputed organizations to get exposed to the corporate world that awaits them. MACE also plays host to workshops and seminars conducted by prominent companies and professional organizations.
