FDP on “Art of Effective Teaching”

FDP on “Art of Effective teaching” focuses on the morals, values and ethical code of conduct that a faculty must uphold and follow. The sessions in the FDP facilitate the faculty to renew and reform their practices in alignment with the values of the institution.

The purpose of the training was to emphasize on the importance of Professional Ethics in teaching effectiveness. As part of the orientation programme for technical and office staff, Adv. Charly Paul interacted with the staff of MACE on 5-9-2016. STUDENT INDUCTION PROGRAMME (SIP)

First year Faculty Advisors coordinate the Student Induction Programme (SIP) for new students every year before the commencement of academic activities. This programme contains sessions on career guidance and scope after engineering. The SIP with the help of in-house faculties and experts from outside helps the students to feel at ease with the new academic environment and make them aware about the institutional practices. The code of conduct to be followed in the institution is communicated to students with emphasis on professional ethics. Sessions focus on motivating students on the basis of morals and human values that the institution upholds.

TEDxMACE

The second edition of TEDxMACE, conducted on 19/1/2018, was under the theme “free fall into life”. The conference saw the participation of speakers such as Dr. Jacob Thomas, IPS officer and former Vigilance and Anti-Corruption Bureau director, Mrs. Uma Subramanian, social entrepreneur and founder of Aarambh India. Their talks imparted lessons on human values, ethics and the role of a strong character as well as code of ethics in professional life.
