Guests can be granted network access with explicit permission.

Data Security and Privacy:

The policy includes procedures for device passwords, logs, firewalls, and security testing.
Institutional data access is limited and requires authorisation, varying by data sensitivity.
Unauthorised use or modification of institutional data can result in disciplinary or legal action.
The policy also addresses data integrity and availability, aligning with institutional standards.
CCTV surveillance is also part of the campus’s infrastructure for security.

Acceptable Use and Social Media:

Acceptable use and social media are restricted through ethical, legal and responsible use of the institute’s network, devices and digital resources.
Access to social media platforms is restricted for students during working hours.

Academic and Research Support:

The library provides access through login to extensive e-learning resources, including e-books and e-journals.
The library provides secure software assistance to check for plagiarism in student and faculty research work.
The institution supports projects with advanced labs for digital fabrication, including FABLAB and Design Studio.

Administration:

An E-Governance policy is in place to streamline digital administration processes.
The IT department is responsible for identifying and rectifying network failures.
The IT department makes necessary arrangements for online examinations and external training programs.
