FeedBack Process

Teaching learning process is a cycle which completes and restarts with the feedback collected and analysed from the respective stakeholders. The improvements and updates on the curriculum are guided by the feedback obtained from the stakeholders of the educational system. In outcome-based education (OBE), feedback plays a good role in evaluating the learning outcomes periodically and helps in revising the curriculum.

  • General and Curriculum based Feedback are obtained from the students and faculty periodically at the end of each semester, using the on-campus portal, Etlab.
  • Employer feedback is collected by the office of training and placement and also during the campus visit by companies for placement.
  • Frequent feedback is also collected from Alumni and Industry experts.
  • Alumni feedback is collected directly by the departments or during the meeting of local chapters or during the global alumni meets.
  • Feedbacks are also collected during their official visit to the college.
  • Parent feedback is collected during the PTA general body meeting by the concerned faculty advisors.
  • The feedback questions in Students, Alumni, Employer and Faculty are framed by each department, mapping each question to the POs or PSOs of respective departments.
  • PSO is department specific, hence the set of feedback questions are specific to each department.
  • The structured feedback forms are available on the college website.
  • The feedback collected is analysed to verify and felicitate the assessment of curriculum delivery procedures, giving due consideration to the suggestive statements.
  • The conclusions of feedback analysis are discussed in the departmental meeting, Programme Assessment Committee (PAC) and taken to IQAC / college council as required.
  • The recommendations from these discussions are later put forward into IQAC meetings or during the design of value-added courses.

In OBE, the attainment of programme outcomes and programme educational objectives is a benchmark for deciding the ADD ON courses/electives/technical talks/seminars to fill the gap in the curriculum and to fill the gaps in course delivery.

Student Feedback
  • Innovative teaching methodologies and learning tactics are formulated on the basis of student feedback.
  • Electives are designed and incorporated based on the analysis of student feedback.
  • New Add On courses are introduced based on student feedback.
  • Training Programs/workshops are also arranged.
