Students should register themselves with the Training and Placement Cell (TNP) portal. Only those students who have registered are eligible to participate in the placement activities including recruitment drives.
Students should update their student profiles in the portal with personal and academic details once the results are published.
Students are allowed to have two IT and one core offer.
Salary packages are divided into two :
Dream : 5 - 10 L.P.A
Super Dream : Salary offers above 10 L.P.A
Students who have already bagged a dream package may also be allowed to appear for companies in the super dream package. But, once a student gets placed from the Super dream package, they will be restrained from participating in any more campus recruitment process.
The eligibility criteria imposed by the companies will be final.
Students must contact the placement volunteers assigned for the respective classes for immediate clarifications & communications (such as registration for placement assistance, updating the database, etc.,). For further clarifications, they can either contact the placement officer or the placement coordinator.
During induction, most of the companies insist on having details such as 10th, 12th/Diploma certificates, two passport size photographs, UG grade cards, Resume, Aadhar card, and College ID. So, the students are expected to procure the same at the earliest.
The details given in the portal such as the resume have to be genuine. Students are obliged to follow rules and regulations prescribed by the TNP cell throughout the entire process. If found with any unethical behaviour, they will be prohibited from further placement activities.
Students who have registered for the training process, must not fail to attend any tests or evaluation processes from TNP. If failed to, they will be restrained from further recruitment process and also will be charged a penalty for the action.
Students should check their mails periodically and be aware of the notifications or messages regarding training and placement activities.
Students should always ensure periodic updation of their profile in the portal. The information submitted must be the latest one and has to go through the two step verification process i.e, verified by both the student volunteers of the respective class and the group tutor.
A student who registered for a company is bound to go through the entire selection process unless rejected midway by the company. Any student who withdraws deliberately in the middle of a selection process will not be permitted for further placement activities.
Students must submit a hard copy of their offer letter to the TnP Cell and a soft copy should be uploaded in the student portal.
